tools

This is where Foundational Black Americans (FBAs) can access the core tools of the USBA ecosystem. They strengthen alignment, protect identity, and support the work of restoration and justice.

Each tool protects FBA identity from distortion and misclassification, ensuring our history and experience remain accurate and intact.

Use these tools to:

  • anchor conversations in lineage, not broad race labels
  • protect FBA identity in public and institutional settings
  • support teaching, organizing, and cultural grounding
  • strengthen reparative justice claims by defining harm

Start with identity. Then use these tools to stay aligned.

Why These tools Matter

Reparative justice requires clarity, which includes a clearly defined people, a documented lineage, and a record of structural harm.

These tools:

  • keep our identity specific and protected
  • align conversations about repair with the harmed group
  • define how we name ourselves and our experience
